It seems that the government structure in the city of Chicago seems more concerned with protecting criminals than supporting law enforcement.
Ammie Kessem is Chicago’s 41st Ward Republican Committeeman and a Sergeant of Police in the Chicago Police Department.
Kessem says violent crime is on the rise and Mayor Lori Lightfoot “almost single-handily” enacted a policy that will take officers off of the streets of Chicago.
“We cannot afford to lose even one officer right now.”
