Davis: ‘Not only was it a no, it was a resounding no’

Republican Candidate for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district, Cicely Davis, weighed in on the defeat of Amendment 2 in Minneapolis. Amendment two would have removed the city’s police department and replaced it with a Department of Public Safety. Davis, who is running against squad member Ilhan Omar, was overjoyed by the results.

“It is important that people feel safe.”

Davis is an avid supporter of law enforcement and considers it a vital part of a healthy society. She explained that the citizens of Minneapolis are rational people and that was on full display last night. Davis also spoke about her campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives and why she would more accurately represent the people of Minnesota’s 5th district. Listen to the full interview above.
