Former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens failed to make an appearance at the State Fair in Sedalia over the weekend. An event attended by Governor Mike Parson and fellow US Senate candidate Mark McCloskey.
“I don’t know if that’s a surprise,” Rodney Boyd says, “his style is really outside of the box.”
Greitens' 'outsider' notoriety lends to a non-traditional campaign style.
“That doesn’t mean he’s not going to find a way to connect with those voters, he just didn’t show up.”
Meanwhile, Grant Stinchfield says that support from former President Trump could be a secured victory, but would require proactive moves from those running.
“Whoever can go under 25% plus [Trump’s] endorsement will walk away with not only the primary election but presumably with the overall victory. I think there’s going to be a lot more courting of President Trump.”
