Nathan Nelson, a former director of military affairs for Representative Matt Gaetz, is pushing back against the FBI after he says he was questioned as part of an ongoing DOJ investigation of the congressman.
Nelson says he believes there is an implication that he resigned from Gaetz’s office due to knowledge of nefarious activity.
"This baseless claim against me leaves me further convinced that the allegations against Congressman Gaetz are likewise fabricated and merely an attempt to discredit a very vocal conservative," he said in a news conference organized by Gaetz’s office.
