Phil Flynn, Energy market analyst at Price Futures Group and author of the Energy Report, tells Mark Reardon, of The Mark Reardon Show, that the US will be able to replace Russian oil to avoid ‘blood money’.
“Under President Biden, we have been importing a record amount of Russian oil because he killed the Keystone Pipeline and because we have had sanctions on Venezuela. Now they are looking to talk to Venezuela to get that oil back. It seems like you're exchanging one dictator for another to get oil supplies,” continued Flynn.
