Former White House Cabinet secretary Bill McGinley joined Marc Cox on the heels of news of President Joe Biden's approval ratings taking a drop, with only 85% of Democrats looking at the administration in a positive light.
"80% amongst the President's party, is pretty low," said McGinley who served in the Trump administration, "that's 20% of Democrats who don't approve of the job their party's President is doing. That's a real problem for Democrats. That means that those voters aren't showing up to the polls or they're going to be open to other options. That's a real problem for them."
McGinley is shocked by the low numbers at this point in the first term for Biden.
"We're nine, 10 months into the Biden Presidency, historically he should still be right around the honeymoon period where everybody gives him a pass," said McGinley, "the problems is they've got so many self-inflicted, manufactured crisies, that the American people are waking up, including Democrats, and realizing that 'look, this is a real problem' and we need to course-correct pretty quickly."
