US Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler joined Marc Cox to chat about her views on the abortion case that reached the Supreme Court this week and her vote on a new bill that has stuck in Marc's craw, The Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021.
Hartzler told Cox that she voted against it because of the $400-million price tag, "they keep data on immunizations, such as polio, measles, and all of that, every county does. So this would modernize it. But I just didn't feel right about it. I don't think we should be spending $400-million more dollars to improve data-sharing processes regarding vaccines. Now it doesn't allow for individual tracking, which is good."
Hartzler is running for the soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat currently held by Roy Blunt in a crowded primary field.
