Fox News contributor Deroy Murdock said he is not surprised at all with the next bill being proposed by House Democrats about DC statehood.
Democrats have a goal to make Washington D.C. the 51st state in the US, which would mean more seats in Senate and House for Democrats most likely.
They believe this bill is long overdue and has to do with 'equal rights' while Republicans believe this is just about more power.
This is just part of the long, laundry list of things President Biden and Democrats would like to crunch into law the next four years.
Deroy Murdock says these people are hammering away at these institutions, attempting to radically change our government.
Murdock said the GOP should offer a more positive outcome for DC statehood. Folks living in Washington DC should be exempt from taxes and keep their status as District of Columbia with no House or Senate seats, according to Murdock.
