Senior Legal Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, Hans von Spakovsky talks about the newest info on the Biden bribery scandal, where it was alleged that Hunter Biden put his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden on the phone to impress business clients.
Spakovsky, on the topic of why he would do this, said "I mean, think about the fact that Hunter Biden has no marketable skills of any kind. So why in the world would people be paying him millions of dollars? There's only one reason, to get access to his father....Look, this is public corruption of the worst kind. It's a family profiting from the public positions held by the patriarch of the family, senator, vice president, and now president."
He then added that "Remember last week when the whistleblowers from the IRS were testifying? MSNBC, other channels like that, they really didn't cover it. And the testimony the IRS investigators had was just devastating against the Bidens."
On the topic of the White House censoring tech accounts, he added that "I mean page after page after page talking about the constant meetings, emails, threats and coercion from government agencies including the FBI, the Justice Department, even the White House to tell social media companies secretly, well you need to censor this account. You need to get rid of this particular opinion on everything from the effectiveness of the COVID vaccine to the effectiveness of a mask, any discussions of elections, even satires of President Biden and criticisms of the economy under Biden. That's censorship. Like we've read about in George Orwell's 1984."
