General Motors announced a plan to end production of all diesel and gasoline-powered cars, trucks, and SUVs by 2035.
The announcement comes after President Joe Biden signed a series of executive orders focused on climate change and the energy sector.
David Kreutzer, Senior Economist at the Institute for Energy Research, shares his thoughts on the moves.
Kreutzer cautions against the federal government “forcing” change and subsidizing with taxpayer dollars.
He also discusses the costs associated with suspending the Keystone XL Pipeline.
