Former Missouri Senator Jim Talent joined Marc Cox for his weekly visit, this time the conversation focuses on the removal of American troops from Afghanistan, and the aftermath.
Talent took exception to recent comments made by President Joe Biden following the evacuation of Kabul.
"He's blaming the Americans in Kabul for not getting out quicker, at the same time as, until the day before yesterday, our government was telling everybody that Kabul was secure," says Talent. "I am continuing to try and grasp and absorb the enormity of this disaster to American national security. And every time I talk about it I get upset. He did the worst thing in the worst possible way. "
