Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has announced that the House has opened an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. The inquiry goal is to further investigate President Biden's family businesses and whether or not he was involved in corruption. The inquiry is to be led by House Oversight Chair James Comer, House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, and House Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith. Fox Legal annalist Andy McCarthy joined The Annie Frey Show to share his thoughts.

Andy McCarthy views this as the next logical step in the process of investigating the President. However McCarthy does have some reservations. He expressed his concern that this inquiry was launched without a vote. But despite his reservations, McCarthy agrees that the Speaker taking this step shows that the GOP is making progress in their investigations.
