On August 6th, Missouri Republican primary voters in the 97.1 FM Talk listening area will help decide five Statewide offices, at least two Congressional Districts and two Statewide Amendments. I say “decide” on the political races because the primary winner is almost assured a November victory. This adds a lot of weight and importance to this vote, leading up to the historic November election.
Turnout by the conservative base will be vitally important. Because of this I’m giving you my picks for those offices, and I normally do not do that in primary elections. However, we have an opportunity as conservatives to pick a handful of leaders in statewide and senate offices who will buck the establishment Republican horde in Jefferson City who raised gasoline taxes and nearly doubled the State budget in the past 6 years.
