Mark Meadows: Trump had a track-record of 'getting things done'

'I'm not going to be a Chief of Staff that goes against his [Trump's] claim of Executive Privilege,' says former COS Mark Meadows.

Former Chief of Staff to President Donald Trump, Mark Meadows has penned a new book, The Chief's Chief. Meadows served as Trump's fourth Chief of Staff from March 2020 through January 2021. He joined Marc Cox to promote the book this week.

Donald Trump, "knows how to get it done, quite frankly got it done, and now we've got Joe Biden messing things up," says Meadows of his time working in the White House.

Meadows is facing a subpoena from a Congressional committee investigating the January 6 riots at the Capitol for testimony. "We've been trying to find a way to accommodate their request without usurping the Executive Privilege that Donald Trump, his administration has claimed, and he personally has the right to claim that. I'm not going to be a Chief of Staff that goes against his claim of Executive Privilege, if there's some way we can answer some questions."

The new book is scheduled to be released on December 7.
