Over the weekend, Joe Rogan announced that he was joining GETTR, a social media competitor of Twitter. Rogan's announcement, coupled with the suspension of Marjorie Taylor Greene and Dr. Robert Malone from Twitter, enticed many to sign up on GETTR. CEO of GETTR Jason Miller said that it was a very good weekend.
"We had over 600,000 sign-ups."
There was also a boost to people who may have had the app but had never finished their profiles. According to Miller, the social media company will be launching exciting new platforms. G-Vision is a competitor of TikTok scheduled to debut next month and GETTR-Pay, a crypto-based payment platform, is set to premiere this summer.
