The Missouri House advances a bill that would ban transgender girls from playing on girls’ sports teams.
Lawmakers voted 100-51 to add the proposal to another bill. The current public high school sports rules in Missouri prohibit transgender girls from competing on girls' teams unless they’re undergoing hormone therapy.
