Missouri Senator Bill Eigel is expressing frustration with the legislature's lack of movement as the session draws to a close.
"Here we are eight days away from the end of session, the legislature, full of Republicans in Jefferson City, has sent exactly two bills to the Governor's desk for a signature and neither one was a major Republican priority."
"The problem is not with the principles of the Republican Party; the problem is we don't have folks that are willing to stand all night on the issues," Eigel continues.
Eigel is also criticizing Governor Mike Parson's lack of visibility.
"I've only seen [Governor] Mike Parson one time this session and it was at the State of the State address... We haven't seen him the entire session."
