Local personal-injury attorney and Missouri US Senate candidate Mark McCloskey joined Marc Cox on The Marc Cox Morning Show.
McCloskey weighed-in on recent moves by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's deal to pass a new debt-ceiling.
"The proposal for additional spending will spend us into inflation and taxation, that will destroy this country," says McCloskey. "Mitch McConnell and the Republicans need to stand up against debt-ceiling increases, against increased federal spending. I think what we need to do is reign in spending, reign in taxes and let this country grow without the intervention of government."
McCloskey also conceded that the Second Amendment Preservation Act may not be, "perfect legislation? Eh, I don't know. Is it better than not having it? Oh hell yes!"
