Jon Shweppe of The American Principles Project is raising the alarm about Gigi Sohn. President Biden has nominated Sohn to head up the FCC. Schweppe says that Sohn is anti-free speech and points out that she supports the Fairness Doctrine. This doctrine says that you must give equal air time to both political points of view.
However, Schweppe doubts it would be applied evenly.
“We don’t want people picking and choosing winners when it comes to speech.”
