Richard Irvin says it's not the government's role to get between parents and their children

J.B. Pritzker signed a law that repealed the requirement that the parents of minors are notified when their child seeks an abortion. Aurora Mayor and Republican candidate for Governor of IL, Richard Irvin shared his thoughts on J.B. Pritzker's continued assault on parents' rights. "You know what I'm pro-life and let me tell you when I travel around this state and talked to folks, let me tell you what, there is concern and anger and they can't believe that J.
B. Pritzker did this. He signed the legislation of bill that allows a teenager to go into an abortion clinic and get an abortion without their parents' notification," said Irvin

Irvin says that Pritzker's actions are a thinly veiled attempt to distract from his failures as governor. "He won't talk about the fact that, under his leadership, crime has been spinning out of control since he signed that dangerous crime bill that takes authority away from police and gives more consideration to criminals. He won't talk about the fact that our taxes and wasteful spending are out of control," said Irvin.

Irvin also took some time to address the accusations leveled at him in attack ads. He addressed his alleged support for BLM, his alleged comments about former President Trump, and more.
