While speaking to a crowd of more than 80,000 on Saturday, former President Donald Trump offered heaps of criticism for his current New York hush money trial, including accusations that it comes from President Biden.
Trump held his latest rally on the Jersey Shore, where Lisa Fagan, spokesperson for the city of Wildwood, told the Associated Press that he spoke before an estimated 80,000 to 100,000 people.
During his speech, Trump criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) and Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case. The former president said Merchan was “corrupt” and dubbed Bragg “fat Alvin.”
“As you know, I’ve come here from New York, where I’m being forced to endure a Biden show trial — all done by Biden,” Trump said.
But Trump didn’t stop with blaming Biden for his hush money trial, as he also complained about his other indictments, calling them “bullsh**.”
“I got indicted four times in a period of three seconds,” he said.
However, Trump said that those who were behind the politically motivated attacks weren’t ready for the backfiring of events, saying they are helping him in his 2024 campaign.
“I heard they were going to do a couple of other things, and they said from Washington ... ‘we’re indicting him into the White House,’” Trump said. “They said, ‘Don’t do it.’”
Trump said that Biden was “a total moron” and that he would be taking a new plan of attack after he claimed the president was using the legal system to politically attack him.
“He’s a fool. He’s not a smart man,” Trump said of Biden. “I talk about him differently now because now, the gloves are off.”
