Local attorney and Republican candidate for US Senate, Mark McCloskey is again under-fire for a gun-waving incident outside his Central West End mansion in 2020.
McCloskey pleaded guilty to a Class C misdemeanor in the incident, was pardoned by Missouri Governor Mike Parson, but "now I've got the chief disciplinary officer of the state of Missouri Bar, asking the Supreme Court to destroy the rest of my career for doing no more than standing out on my front porch."
"What he's asking of the Supreme Court is to immediately suspend our licenses indefinitely," says McCloskey. "I'm hoping that the Supreme Court will see through this. They're our highest judges in the land, I have great respect for them. I have every expectation that they're going to see through this and see it for what it is."
