Missouri Governor Mike Parson joined Marc Cox live from the Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City, and addressed his approach to the Covid-19 pandemic. He pointed out the large percentage of students who remained in classrooms over the past several years.
"When you're running scared of Covid, and don't get me wrong, Covid's serious and people lost their lives, and we hate that," said Parson. "But you can't run scared of it from here on out. We're probably going to have to deal with Covid, in some form. I don't know that it's going away. The reality of it is we've got to keep moving forward at the same time we're dealing with it."
Parson also addressed recent mask mandate vote in St Louis County, citizen-engagement in local government, Missouri's legislative session and re-districting.
