Former Missouri Senator Jim Talent joined Marc for his weekly visit, this one focused on new warnings about the Delta-variant of the Covid-19 virus for the state of Missouri.
Could the uptick in cases around the state lead to more shutdowns?
"I certainly hope not," says Talent, "as we've discussed, there are tremendous negative consequences," to lock-downs, including consequences to health and closures of schools for children.
Talent continued, "it's certainly not a step that I would want to take, and there does seem to be almost an eagerness to take it in many places in the country."
