Donald Trump Jr event scrapped; organizers blame online payment partner

Former MO State Sen Jim Lembke: 'This is just another example of the woke, corporate environment shutting down conservative speech'

"It's just outrageous, and they think they can cancel us, well they can't," says former Missouri State Senator Jim Lembke of WePay, an online payment system that recently stopped accepting payments for an event featuring Donald Trump Jr. "We'll find a different company that will sell our tickets online."

Lembke tells Marc Cox that Defense of Liberty PAC was promoting an event featuring the oldest son of the former President in December. The group had sold about $30,000 in tickets for the event when their online ticket handler WePay sent an email, "that says that they're shutting down the sale of tickets, and refunding all of those tickets to the people that had bought them, and wouldn't be able to do business with us anytime in the future."

"We can't figure that out, I mean the idea that we bring in conservative thinkers, conservative leaders from around the country to speak to people that want to hear their message," Lembke tells Marc Cox above.
