House Bill 163 has transformed into a police reform bill that was introduced to the Illinois General Assembly.
State Representative Blaine Wilhour said this puts law enforcement in Illinois in a lot of danger, as well as citizens. He said from both a safety standpoint and a liable standpoint, this bill is made to the detriment of police officers.
"This would be the most radical, most progressive, anti-police bill in the country," he said.
Wilhour said there is definitely trepidation about this bill from all over Illinois. Unfortunately, he said it looks like it is on its way to passing.
He suggests calling your representatives to see if they support this bill and hold them accountable.
