President Joe Biden is slated to chat with China's President Xi Jinping in a Friday morning phone call. Fox News Radio's Jessica Rosenthal tells Ryan Wrecker that it seems like both Russia and the US are reaching out to China to be a partner.
"This is a call to find out exactly where China stands, where does Xi Jinping stand," says Rosenthal. There have been "a lot of different statements and comments have been coming out of China. It seems like they're kinda trying to have it all."
"I think they're looking for some concrete to come out of this, for some actual verbiage to come out of this phone call that they can either comfortably hang their hat on or share with the world," explains Rosenthal, saying "Look, China is here, not there."
Rosenthal points out that Chinese social media, "is filled with really the narrative backing Russia."
