97.1 The Ticket -- There's nothing like a little lighthearted "rookie hazing" in professional sports.

Whether its making the new guys pick up the dinner tab, Tigers players making rookies wear "Hello Kitty" backpacks out to the bullpen or just some banter from the veterans, it's always fun to see how rookies handle adjusting to the big leagues.

The Golden State Warriors held an open practice Monday night in front of a large crowd at their newly christened Chase Center in San Francisco. The veterans decided to have a little fun with it, making the newest Warriors do karaoke at half court.

While Villanova's Eric Paschall sang T-Pain's "Buy U A Drank" and Juan Toscano did a little dancing, a little Michigan flavor was brought to the floor when former Michigan State Spartan made former Michigan Wolverine Jordan Poole sing the MSU fight song.
Well, "sing" is a term used loosely in this case. Obviously, Poole isn't familiar with the words, but he completely bombed:

Yikes. It's a good thing Poole has quite the jumpshot, because he certainly doesn't have a singing voice.

This isn't the first time Green has "hazed" Poole, either. Green posted a video to social media last week of Poole standing in a pool with a rubber ducky, while he threw towels at him.

All jokes aside, it seems the two rivals are getting along in the Bay Area, where the Warriors will try and reach their sixth straight NBA Finals this season with a new-look roster that could see Poole get significant playing time in the absence of Klay Thompson.

Golden State drafted Poole 28th overall in June's NBA Draft and at times during his time as a Wolverine, he showed flashes of being able to fit into the Warriors' 3-point oriented offense, shooting 37% from distance in his two seasons at Michigan.

He scored 17 points on 4-of-9 3-point shooting in 23 minutes off the bench Saturday in the Warriors' preseason opener against the Lakers.

Don't be surprised if you see some friendly (or perhaps some not-so-friendly) wagering between Green and Poole when the Wolverines and Spartans get together on the hardwood.
