Until the Chiefs drafted LSU's Clyde Edwards-Helaire Thursday night, it was widely believed D'Andre Swift would be the first running back off the board.
So Swift sent out a warning of sorts after his first-round snub.
Say nomore
— SWIFT7️⃣ (@DAndreSwift) April 24, 2020It was a surprise to see Swift fall into the second round.
He's arguably the most complete running back in the draft, and his resume at Georgia spoke for itself. He averaged 6.6 yards per carry over his three-year career, breaking the school record previously held by Todd Gurley. Per NFL.com's Lance Zierlein, Swift has "Offensive Rookie of the Year potential."
When the first round came to an end, Packers safety Adrian Amos said Swift will "be a steal" for whichever team drafts him.
Swift going to be a steal for somebody

The Lions drafted Swift No. 35 overall Friday night.
