97.1 The Ticket -- Red Wings forward Brendan Perlini left Tuesday night's game against the Sabres after taking a skate to the face.
Perlini had just flipped the puck into the Detroit zone when he collided with Buffalo's Henri Jokiharju. As the two went down to the ice, Jokiharju's skate came up and hit Perlini in the face.

The team later announced Perlini suffered a deep laceration to his nose and was receiving stitches from team doctors in Buffalo.
