Evgeny Svechnikov has his younger brother's back.

The Red Wings forward didn't take too kindly to Alex Ovechkin dropping Andrei Svechnikov in a fight Monday night in Game 3 between the Hurricanes and Capitals.

Ovechkin knocked the 19-year-old Svechnikov out of the game in the first period with a brutal right to the chin

Shortly after the fight, the 22-year-old Svechnikov appeared to issue a threat to Ovechkin via Instagram. I'm coming for you, he told his fellow Russian.

The message is a reference to the song from the horror film 'A Nightmare on Elm Street.'

One, two, Freddy's coming for you
Three, four, better lock your door...

For the older Svechnikov, the first step is returning to the Red Wings lineup. He missed the duration of the 2018-19 season with a knee injury.

The younger Svechnikov, who's in concussion protocol and isn't expected to play in Game 4, can take solace in the fact the Hurricanes got the last laugh Monday night with a 5-0 win.

The Capitals now lead the series 2-1.
