DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) -- Dylan Larkin was not happy with the way the Red Wings were playing in the second period Monday night against Nashville.

Not after they had given up four goals in eight minutes, after taking a 1-0 lead into the first intermission.

Especially not after taking a shoulder to the head from Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis. Larkin took exception to the hit and immediately began scrapping.

While many had hoped the fight would spark the Red Wings to get back in the game, Nashville added another goal two minutes later to take a 5-1 lead into the second break, before going on to win 6-1.

Larkin and Ellis were each hit with five-minute fighting majors, while Larkin also got a two-minute minor for roughing.
