It's been a while, but after joking yelling at a fan to keep six feet distance, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl finally welcomed someone from the crowd to play with the band on stage again during their show in Bonner Springs, Kansas on August 5.

Invited up to perform their 1997 The Colour and the Shape hit "Monkey Wrench" at the end of the night, the Foos frontman handed over the guitar off his back to Lauren while asking if she had ever "played a show this big," adding, “It’s f***ing cool.” Her beaming smile agreed.
Lauren crushed through the song, singing along with the words and walking the stage like a boss. During the breakdown, Dave told the crowd, "this motherf***er did her homework." He also gave Lauren some Rock N' Roll stance tips and even joked about his falling off the stage when she took a little stumble.
Stopping mid-track to do a little "Arena Rock" business of asking the crowd to scream, which Lauren obviously enjoyed and fist bumped Grohl in appreciation, the band truly made her feel like part of the crew as they jumped back in after the breakdown. Before the epic ending, Dave helped Lauren pause for a face-melting drum solo from Taylor Hawkins, and then brought it all back to reality by telling her to go backstage and "get a f***ing Coke or something" once the song was over.
Although Lauren's facial expressions while she was rocking out with the Foos is all we really needed today, there's actually more awesome news to share... ARE YOU READY?! The band has added more dates to their 26th-anniversary tour with stops in Syracuse, NY and Bridgeport, CT scheduled for September.
