Get the coronavirus vaccine.
That was Mike Valenti's message to his audience Thursday.
Valenti said he was asked by the radio company that owns 97.1 The Ticket if he would do a PSA to support public awareness of the vaccine. What was his stance on the vaccine, he was asked.
"I'm one step away from turning a trick on the corner," Valenti said. "Take the thing."
He said he encounters people who say between watching cat videos on the internet they've heard things that make them suspicious of getting the vaccine. Internet rumors are not science. It's safe. Get it.
"I will take it live on air, I will take it standing on my head. I will take it from a homeless person standing on the corner ... Take it. Whatever Karen you know in your life doesn't know better. Trust the science. Take it."
There's one way to get back to living life: Take thecoronavirus vaccine.
And if you do, Valenti promises this: You're not going to grow a penis out of your ear.
"It's not political, it's medicine. It's a miracle we have it," Valenti said, adding it doesn't make you weak, a lib or a moron. "It makes you smart, it makes you someone who cares and it makes you someone who wants to live your life," he said.
