We've seen the truth now. This team is really bad.

The Lions' defense is abysmal. The Patriots, with none other than Matt Patricia calling the plays, and rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe making his first NFL start, rolled through the Lions with ease.

Jared Goff is not the long-term answer at QB. He was exposed Sunday. So was the Lions' allegedly top-notch offensive line.
The Lions sorely lack depth. With D'Andre Swift out and Amon-Ra St. Brown hobbled, the Lions' big-play capability tails off dramatically.
