Desmond Trufant missed seven games with the Falcons last season, and his injury woes have followed him to Detroit.
The Lions' No. 1 corner will miss his third game of the season Sunday against the Jaguars due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1. Trufant dealt with toe and forearm injuries last year.
That didn't stop the Lions from giving him a two-year, $20 million contract as the intended replacement for Darius Slay. Now they're really paying the price.
Otherwise, things are looking pretty good on Sunday for Detroit.
Center Frank Ragnow returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday after sitting out Thursday due to a groin injury. He's listed as questionable, but trending in the right direction.
Adrian Peterson also returned to practice Friday after being sent home Thursday with a non-COVID-related sickness. He's good to go for Sunday.
On defense, LB Christian Jones (knee), DT Nick Williams (shoulder) and DL Da'Shawn Hand (chest) were full participants at Friday's practice and do not carry injury designations heading into Sunday's game.
The two biggest question marks for the Jaguars are DE Josh Allen, who missed practice Friday with a knee injury, and WR D.J. Chark, who was limited with an ankle injury. Both are questionable for Sunday.
