With President Donald Trump in attendance for the Lions' win over the Commanders on Sunday in D.C., Amon-Ra St. Brown busted out Trump's signature dance move after his first quarter touchdown that gave Detroit a 14-3 lead.
"I heard Trump was going to be at the game. And I don't know how many times the President is going to be at the game, so just decided to have some fun and do his dance, said St. Brown, who had a pair of dance partners in the end zone Jameson Williams and Sam LaPorta.
It was an eventful day for St. Brown, who not only caught five passes for 58 yards but got into a feud with Commanders star defensive tackle Daron Payne that ended in Payne punching St. Brown in the helmet and getting ejected.
St. Brown said that he and Payne had been in "a little scuffle" a couple plays prior, "and then we end up scoring and I go up to him, I say a little something, nothing crazy, and then he decides to swing on me. So it is what it is."
