The 14-2 Lions cleaned up in Pro Bowlers this year, with an NFC-high seven selections, including five starters.

Detroit is sending five players to the Pro Bowl on offense, headlined by QB Jared Goff. With an NFC-best 113.6 passer rating, Goff earned the starting designation over Sam Darnold of the Vikings and rookie Jayden Daniels of the Commanders.

The Lions' other starters on offense are wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, tackle Penei Sewell and center Frank Ragnow. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs was also selected behind starter Saquon Barkley of the Eagles.

On defense, the Lions are represented by strong safety Brian Branch, who was selected behind starter Budda Baker of the Cardinals. Somehow, free safety Kerby Joseph was left off the team in favor of Xavier McKinney of the Packers, despite the fact that Joseph leads the NFL with nine interceptions -- two more than McKinney.

In fact, Joseph, who has a legitimate case to win Defensive Player of the Year, wasn't even named a first alternate at free safety.

Detroit's other Pro Bowler is Jack Fox, who earned the start at punter.

The Lions' full list of alternates is below, along with the full rosters for the NFC and the AFC. The Ravens led the NFL with nine Pro Bowlers total.
