To the public, Jared Goff put it like this: "Send us anywhere, line us up against anyone and we feel like we can go in there and beat them. We have that confidence in ourselves and in each other."
To his teammates, he put it like this: "Know who the fu*k we are!"
Breaking down the locker room after the Lions' 34-20 win at Lambeau Field Thursday night, Goff said, "Hey, how bout that fu*kin' defense today, boys!? How bout that fu*king defense!"
Then he raised his hand toward the ceiling and yelled, "Hey, keep doing this! This is just the start. Keep fu*kin' doing this! Know who the fu*k we are!"
Goff and the Lions have every right to be fired up. They're 3-1 through the first quarter of the season and they look like the best team in the NFC North. And they may have just won their hardest division game of the season.
"That's one!" Dan Campbell told them. "That's two (wins) in a row! And it's a conference win, gentlemen! Fu*king great! We're 3-1 at the quarter. Man, the sky's the limit!"
