The Lions are holding out hope that Kenny Golladay won't miss significant time with the hip injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
But this isn't a good sign: Detroit worked out free agent WR Mohamed Sanu on Monday.
Sanu, 31, appeared in three games for the 49ers this season before being released early in October. He caught one pass for nine yards.
He split last season with the Falcons and the Patriots, totaling 59 catches for 520 yards and two touchdowns over 15 games.
Golladay is reportedly a candidate to land on injured reserve. Matt Patricia said Monday the team considers it a "day by day, week by week" situation.
A report surfaced Sunday that Golladay was absent from the team facility Saturday due to frustration over his contract situation, but Patricia shot that down on Monday.
