As a member of the USA Select Team, Pistons rookie Isaiah Stewart was surely looking forward to training with the Olympic Team this week. It was a chance to sharpen his game and learn from fellow big men Bam Adebayo and Kevin Love -- and Stewart didn't back down in a clash with Adebayo on Wednesday.

But it looks like Stewart's time on the court this week might be over. He left Thursday's scrimmage between Team USA and the Select Team due to an ankle injury, according to Brian Windhorst.

The Select Team, which also features fellow Pistons rookie Saddiq Bey, is scheduled to train with the Olympic Team through Friday.

Hopefully Stewart's injury won't derail the rest of his offseason. The 20-year-old is a key piece for the Pistons moving forward after earning second-team All-Rookie honors this season.
