With the Lions hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs Sunday afternoon, the Red Wings' game against the Tampa Bay Lightning across the street has been pushed back.
The Red Wings-Lightning game at Little Caesars Arena, originally-scheduled for 5 p.m., will now start at 7 p.m. the NHL has announced. That will allow the Lions-Buccaneers game, which begins at 3 p.m., to conclude before puck drop.
The Red Wings game will air live on WWJ Newsradio 950 and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Detroit. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the first 7,500 fans in attendance will receive a Jake Walman bobblehead.
Before the Lions game, LCA restaurants Mike's Pizza Bar, The Mixing Board and PointsBet Sports Bar will open at 11:30 a.m, all of which are accessible fro the arena for both ticketed and non-ticketed fans.
