(97.1 The Ticket) -- As fans shivered and snow fell at the Big House Saturday afternoon, tempers boiled over in the tunnels at halftime.
With No. 5 Michigan leading No. 2 Ohio State 14-13 at halftime of Saturday's de facto Big Ten East title game, things got a little heated heading into the locker rooms as players got a little rowdy, as seen all over social media.
It's not exactly clear what or who prompted the fracas, but you can probably chalk it up to one thing: it's Ohio State-Michigan.
Officials can be seen separating the two teams and trying to corral the teams into their locker rooms.
The Wolverines backed it up when they returned for the second half, quickly extending their lead to 21-13. The heat carried over to the field, as players had to be separated again after OSU's Cameron Brown ripped the helmet off of Michigan's Roman Wilson.
The winner will head to Indianapolis next weekend for the Big Ten Championship Game. A win in that one would mean a trip to the College Football Playoff.
