With the Mountain West Conference expanding from 18 to 20 conference games in 2020, SDSU Athletic Director JD Wicker doesn't believe the Aztecs will be able to schedule a non-conference game against USD, bringing an end to the streak of 22 consecutive seasons the two schools have played against each other in men's hoops. San Diego State seems to be more focused on scheduling tougher non-conference opponents to beef up their NCAA Tournament resume since they'll have fewer non-conference opportunities available.
SDSU and USD have played in men's basketball for 22 straight seasons. Doesn't sound like they'll make it 23. https://t.co/PaBxQ3uRKD
