Tailgating is a staple in San Diego and sports fans have been loading up their grills in the California sunshine since 1960, when the first professional sports team came to San Diego. Without professional football in San Diego, some tailgaters have put their cooking to the side and have been itching to come back! Well, last week when the San Diego Fleet made their debut in their brand new city, tailgaters flocked to SDCCU Stadium to get the gang back together. Despite the rain, tailgaters were in full force and were excited to see what the Alliance of American Football was all about.
This week it was time to dive into the amazing food that San Diegans cooked up and what their go to choices were for their perfect tailgate. Braden Surprenant walked the parking lot of SDCCU Stadium in search of the perfect tailgate in San Diego and the video above is what he found!
