The San Diego Padres unveiled a new feature as part of their in-house show on Friday night and it is real "classy" to say the least.
Before they officially brought the concept to life on Friday night the Padres released the above tweet as a tease to what was to come in the following inning. It looked like the "Sausages" from Milwaukee or the Presidents from Washington D.C. were transformed into Ron Burgundy, Champ Kind, Brick Tamland and Brian Fantana. Well that is exactly what happened!
The Padres had their first "Sausage" race with a San Diego twist!
Ron Burgundy was able to notch the first win in the new Anchorman Races at Petco Park and it was instantly a fan favorite. We might have to keep you updated with how the race plays out!
