LHP Mackenzie Gore is being promoted to Double-A in Amarillo, Texas.

Gore is leaving High-A ball in Lake Elsinore after being named to the All-Star game this season.

This was first reported by Dennis Lin, per The Athletic.

MacKenzie Gore has officially been promoted to Double-A Amarillo.

The question will remain if Gore continues to dominate, will the San Diego Padres promote him as a September call-up? The Padres are 45-45 at the All-Star break and are in strong contention for the NL Wild Card.
