The Padres had an eventful weekend, as they kicked off an east coast road trip in Toronto on Friday. The team called up one of their top positional prospects, outfielder Josh Naylor, to make his Major League debut in his native country of Canada. Hunter Renfroe broke an 8th inning tie with a 3 run homer that ended up being the difference. San Diego's bats remained alive on Saturday as the team pounded out a season-high 19 runs in a 19-4 victory. The Friars lost 10-1 on Sunday, but still won the series against Toronto. Monday's Memorial Day game made headlines when Manny Machado got booed, and unfortunately, the Padres lost 5-2.
