U.S. President Donald Trump says he will attend Game 5 of the World Series, should the Nationals need a fifth game to eliminate the Houston Astros.

President Trump declined to throw out the first pitch for Game 5.

"They've got to dress me up in a lot of heavy armor — I'll look too heavy," Trump said, according to The Washington Post.

The Nationals lead the Astros two games to none after stealing the first two games in Houston. The Series shifts back to Washington for Games 3, 4 and 5, with the latter only being necessary if the Astros win one of the next two games. Game 5, if necessary, is scheduled or Sunday.

President Trump has yet to attend a Nationals game in his presidency. As is customary, the prior two presidents, Barack Obama and George W. Bush, have each thrown out the first pitch on Opening Day of previous Nationals seasons.
