Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall is tired of talking about the Dallas Cowboys, but that does not mean he thinks there are big things ahead for America’s Team.
The former receiver who played for six different teams, including Cowboys NFC East rival Giants, recently told TMZ Sports he is a believer in Dallas as a Super Bowl contender.
“The last two months, I’ve shifted,” Marshall said. “I think they’re gonna be a true contender. Dak Prescott, healthy. Defense, middle of the road — Super Bowl.”

Yet, Marshall’s co-host of the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Channing Crowder, disagreed with Marshall’s prediction.
“You see that big a—scar coming at that man’s ankle like a cross like Jesus?” the former Dolphins linebacker said of Prescott’s ankle injury. “Jesus gotta keep his ankle safe. Listen bro, he strained his shoulder, I’m telling you man, you recover from the injury two years after the injury. I don’t think that’s gonna be Dak this year.”
The Cowboys are coming off a season in which they finished 6-10and in third place in the NFC East, but played most of the season without Prescott, who had a compound ankle fracture in Week 5 against the Giants.

Prescott’s ankle appears to be at full strength but he is now dealing with a shoulder strain that has sidelined him for much of training camp this month.
